2006 Colt, Bueno Starlight x Dun It By Mistake

This colt is special, and he's the quietest stud colt in the barn. Always willing, never puts up a fuss. Gives easily to hackamore/snaffle, goes quietly and consistently on a loose rein.
Has a lot of turnaround, pretty mover and circler, and nice stopper. Pretty and low headed on his circles. He's the horse that the trainers like to ride. Very stout and strong.
His dam is Dun It By Mistake (NRHA Top Ten; reserve champion as a 3 year old). He's by Bueno Starlight, earner of $45,860; 9th NRCHA Open Snaffle Bit Futurity; Congress Senior Rening Reserve Champion. He's by Greys Starlight and out of Milk Chex, NRCHA Open Futurity Finalist, 7th AQHA Senior Working Cow Horse.
Very balanced, strong bone, compact. Contact Jeremy Gates or Cathy Herbert for more information about this outstanding prospect.

Daughter of Gunner, in foal to Night Deposit Chex

Colonels Smokin Heart, 2001 APHA mare by Gunner and out of My Smokin Heart. She is a full sister to HH Shotgun Rider, shown by Rocky Dare to the NRHA Open and Intermediate Futurity Finals. She was shown LIGHTLY in NRHA over just a few months in 2006 but qualified for the NRHA Limited Open Affiliate Finals in OKC. She then shifted to working cow horse and, in 3 trips to the pen, qualified for the 2007 NRCHA World Championship Show in Open Hackamore and Limited Open Hackamore.
Sidelined with a minor injury, she missed that show but returned to the show pen to finish 3rd at the APHA World Championship Show in solid paint bred reining. She has plus 1 spins in both directions, solid plus stopper. Has marked 72s just loping through a pattern.
She has an outstanding foal by Night Deposit Chex on the ground. Unbred for 2009, she could easily return to the show pen.
